May 29, 2008: NSF International has announced that the ZeroWater Z-Pitcher is the first pour-through filter to receive certification for lead reduction under the new, stricter standard. Click here for more information.
The Z-Pitcher™ has been certified and the filters have been tested by NSF International under NSF/ANSI Standard 53 for the reduction of lead, chromium, and mercury, and under NSF/ANSI 42 for the reduction of hydrogen sulfide as well as chlorine taste and odor."
